About Us

Welcome to All The Kissing

We’re a group of romance writers who love our craft and want to give back to the fabulous writing community. Our goal with this site is to share the expertise we’ve gathered throughout our writing journeys. We’ll discuss topics specific to romance, as well as a few other themes near and dear to our hearts.

We’re all at varying stages in our path to publication, so we aim to give you a comprehensive look into the trials and tribulations associated with becoming a bonafide romance author. So here’s to you, writer, for dedicating yourself to this career, to embracing the wild ups and downs that come with writing, and working toward your dream. Hopefully, we can help you out along the way!

MEET THE TEAM

Alexa Martin

Alexa Martin

Co-Founder

Alexa Martin is a writer and stay-at-home mom. She lives in Colorado with her husband, four children, and German shepherd. When she’s not telling her kids to put their shoes on (again), you can find her catching up with her latest book boyfriend or on Pinterest pinning meals she’ll probably never make. Her first book, INTERCEPTED, is out now with Berkley.

G. L. Jackson

G. L. Jackson

Co-Founder

G.L. Jackson lives in the Seattle area with her family and pets. Although born in New York City and raised in New England, she prefers the west coast.

She’s been writing since childhood. While some things never change, she hopes the quality of those stories has increased at least a little over time. These days her focus is primarily on contemporary rock & roll romance featuring strong, sassy heroines who know what they want and aren’t afraid to reach for it. She does her best to bust at least a few tropes per book. Banter is her guilty pleasure.

Maxym M. Martineau Crop

Maxym M. Martineau

Co-Founder

Maxym M. Martineau is a staff writer and editor by day, and a fantasy romance author by night. When she’s not getting heated over broken hearts, she enjoys playing video games, sipping a well-made margarita, binge-watching television shows, competing in just about any sport, and of course, reading.

Following her passion, Maxym earned her bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Arizona State University. She’s a member of Romance Writers of America, and currently lives in Arizona with her husband and their four dogs. She is represented by Cate Hart of Corvisiero Literary Agency. Her debut, Kingdom of Exiles, is slated for release in June 2019.

Shannon Caldwell

Shannon Caldwell

Co-Founder

Shannon blames her mom. She snagged one of her steamy bodice-rippers at fifteen, and has had her nose stuck in romance books ever since. In college, Shannon wrote her first novel, a western time travel romance. On an electric typewriter. The keys (now on a laptop) have click-clacked ever since.

She’s had many jobs in between her journalism degree from North Texas and her current day job of training yoga teachers. Marriage, step-kids, an adorable son, and one awesome rescue pup round out her days, and romance writing heats up her nights.

Tricia Lynne

Tricia Lynne

Co-Founder

Tricia Lynne is fluent in both sarcasm and cuss words and has little filter between her brain and mouth––a combination that tends to embarrass her husband at corporate functions. A tomboy at heart, she loves hard rock, Irish whiskey, and her Midwestern roots. She’s drawn to strong, flawed heroines, and believes writing isn’t a decision one makes, but a calling one can’t resist.

A member of the Romance Writers of America, she lives in the North Dallas ‘burbs with her husband, and three goofy dogs. Her debut, Moonlight & Whiskey, is slated for release Spring, 2019 with Random House/Loveswept.

Lindsay Hess

Lindsay Hess

Admin

When Lindsay isn’t writing stories with magic and kissing, she spends her time devouring as many tacos as she can get her hands on, and wrangling the Hess herd of rescue pets—two cats, one dog, and an almost entirely house-broken husband. She watches muuuuch more Netflix than is good for her productivity, and loves to cook and entertain…but detests cleaning her house. Consider this your warning should you ever come over and encounter a cat/dog hair tumbleweed (or three). It isn’t her fault. Don’t blame her.

Also, bring wine.
