Agent/Editor Signup for #KissPitch

Are you an agent/editor interested in finding your next favorite Romance or Women’s Fiction read? Do you like Twitter-based pitch contests? Then consider signing up to participate in #KissPitch!

What’s #KissPitch?

You can check out our #KissPitch tab for all the rules and details, but the long and short of it is:

#KissPitch is a Twitter pitch event where Romance—and Women’s Fiction!—writers may “pitch” their finished work to industry professionals for consideration. Though a “favorite” during a pitch event is in no way a guarantee an agent/professional will request further material, it may help authors climb through the slush pile more quickly.

What works do we allow?

All subgenres of Romance with varying heat levels and Women’s Fiction! HEA/HFN required for Romance, but not for Women’s Fiction.

What do I have to do to participate?

It’s simple! Just post (and maybe pin) your preferred submission requirements (i.e., “Please use #KissPitch in the subject line and send along the query and first five pages of your manuscript.”) to your Twitter page, and then browse the #KissPitch feed at your leisure. If you find something that tickles your fancy, give it a like! Pop in and out of the feed as often as you’d like—there’s no minimum participation time required. Feel free to browse the feed and like after the event closes, too!

I’m not sure if I can make it. Do I have to sign up to participate?

Nope! By signing up ahead of time, you’ll simply be one of our “confirmed pros” we’ll tease out prior to the event. We’re happy to have last-minute adds or day-of participants if you’re uncertain as to whether or not you can join at this time.

Great! Where do I sign up?

Right here! Just fill out this Google form and we’ll add you to our list of confirmed pros. We can’t wait for you to participate!

Note: This form is for agents/editors only. If you’re an author and would like to participate, simply join in on the day of the event using the #KissPitch hashtag on Twitter (and follow our rules!).
